# tally

Counts lines, words and bytes, like `wc`, with output that lines up.

## Usage

```sh
cargo install --path .
tally notes.txt
echo "one two" | tally
```

## Output

| Column | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| 1 | lines |
| 2 | words, split on whitespace |
| 3 | bytes |
